2-17-25   THOUGHTS

We always seem to need a  reviving.  Melancholy comes easier than rejoicing.  Revive us,  O Lord!  Verse 10 is powerful...  “Lovingkindness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.”  I hope we trust that our Lord will give what is good.   Isa 30:18  “Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.”

Ps 85:6-13    Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? 7  Show us Your lovingkindness, O LORD, And grant us Your salvation. 8   I will hear what God the LORD will say; For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; But let them not turn back to folly. 9  Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
That glory may dwell in our land. 10  Lovingkindness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. 11  Truth springs from the earth, And righteousness looks down from heaven.  12  Indeed, the LORD will give what is good, And our land will yield its produce.  13  Righteousness will go before Him And will make His footsteps into a way.

My Prayer:
O God our Father, we praise and lift up Your Glorious name.  May Your glory dwell in our midst.   Continually restore to us the joy of Your salvation.  May we see Your righteousness and follow Your  way.  Revive us continually, O God.  Help us to practice Your  presence, may we abide always in You.  Shower us with Your perfect love.   In the name of Jesus,   Amen.
